Hearts new signing Sampson Cudjoe has applauded coach David Duncan for his move to the capital-based side.
The 25-year-old midfielder finally joined Hearts on a three-year deal from Medeama after months of negotiations.
Cudjoe, who played under coach David Duncan at Ashantigold two-years ago, has paid glowing tribute to the man for his move to the club.
“I feel that ever player has the desire to work with a Coach he enjoys playing for. Duncan and I had a solid partnership during my days at AshantiGold and he is one of the reasons why I opted to join Hearts of Oak.†Cudjoe told Radio XYZ
“Hearts is one of the biggest clubs on the continent and playing for them is a big privilege.
“Coach Duncan spoke to me about this move and I was more than happy to take it because I knew that with him around my career will blossom. I know there will be pressure from the fans but I am here to impress and leave a mark in the minds of the supportersâ€.
Cudjoe becomes the club’s fourth ‘big name’ signing following the capture of Amidaus duo Selasi Adjei and Emmanuel Hayford as well as utility defender Kweku Andoh from Berekum Chelsea.
