Hearts sign Herbert Addo as new coach to replace Mohammed Polo

Hearts of Oak have secured the services of Herbert Addo as their new coach ahead of the soccer season, Happy FM has reported.

Addo has signed a long-term deal with the club which will see him take over from Mohammed Polo.

The former Aduana Stars trainer makes a return to the club after several years and has been tasked with restoring the Phobian glory.

He was instrumental in Inter Allies Premier League survival and will be keen to build a crack side to challenge Kotoko this season.

Hearts had been linked with moves for Kotoko coach Mas-ud Dramani and Professor JK Mintah of Ebusua Dwarfs but they have moved swiftly to tie Addo down after negotiations with the two coaches broke down.

Hearts will represent Ghana at next year’s CAF Confederation Cup after placing third behind Kotoko and Heart of Lions.

I think is a good move for the phobia family. However,we beg the management this time round that they should allow the coach to sign the players he thinks will fit into his plans and not by imposing certain players of their interest. That will not help the club. The team has suffered from setbacks for so long and this is time for the board manager,(C.E.O),the players, the technical team and the fans at large to rise up for the club. The management should also see the fans as crucial as they play a key role to the team's success.
