Ghana starlet Mahatma Otoo has agreed to join Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv for two years in a deal reported to be worth US$ 550,000.
The Hearts of Oak forward scored 10 goals for his local side Hearts of Oak last term.
"I can confirm that I'm leaving for Israel but what I can't say is whether I will leave before the Under-20 qualifier or after," the 18-year-old told Ghanasoccernet.com
Otoo was named as the best player in the 2009/10 Ghana Premier League.
Otoo is a member of Ghana’s Under-20 team preparing for the 2011 African Youth Championship qualifier against Namibia on 25 July.
