Herbert Addo given licence to splash Hearts' cash

Hearts coach Herbert Addo is free to splash the cash to bring in quality players ahead of the start of the new season.

The 2000 African champions are often cautious about spending large sums on players, but that could change this term with Addo given the license to sign quality additions.

Hearts have been linked with a number of high profile players but are yet to land their targeted players.

Aduana Stars duo Godfred Saka and Stephen Adams are believed to be nearing moves to the capital-based side while New Edubiase playmaker Asiedu Atobrah has also been linked to the club.

Ebusua Dwarfs defender Vincent Atinga is rumoured to be on the radar of the Accra-based club.

Coach Addo will hope to get bring in the new players ahead of the start of the mini top-four tournament which kicks start later this month.

Hearts have intensified preparations ahead of the start of the new season with series of low profile friendly games.
