In-demand ex-Ghana U20 goalkeeper Daniel Agyei closing in on Bechem United move

Ex-Ghana Under-20 goalkeeper Daniel Agyei has confirmed he's close to sealing a deal with FA Cup champions Bechem United.

Agyei, 25, is a free agent after ending his short term contract at Ghanaian side Medeama.

The former Liberty Professionals ace is reported to have held advanced talks with United over a possible switch.

And he has confirmed he could sign the dotted lines next week.

 

“It is true, I have been in contact with Bechem United for some time now, a negotiation is far advanced,” he told Happy FM.

“We are still talking and it is likely I will sign for them by next week.”

The former Free State Stars safest pair of hands has never been in short of offers since he announced his departure from Medeama.

The hugely talented glovesman is a blessed with incredible quality and luck after excelling heavily for both clubs and country.

He played an influential role for Medeama, helping the side to finish fourth after joining in the second half of the season with some exquisite techniques.

He dislodged long-standing goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe and emerged the toast of fans in Tarkwa.
