Ayew has emerged as a standout performer for the struggling side after scoring four goals in eight games so far.
The Ghana international delivered another fine display against Newcastle United where he grabbed the much-needed equalizer in the vital stalemate at the St James Park.
It appears there will not holiday for players of the bottom-placed side as they will train on Christmas day, just a day before their home fixture against West Ham United.
Fans are relying on the 24-year-old to mastermind their great escape from relegation.
Villa are firmly rooted at the bottom with a paltry seven points from 17 games.
