Juventus coach pens contract extension

Massimiliano Allegri’s reign at the Juventus Stadium is set to last until at least 2018 after he put pen to paper on a new deal on Friday.

After winning the Serie A and Coppa Italia league and cup double last season, the Bianconeri could be about to do it all again if they triumph against AC Milan on May 21.

By way of reward for his efforts since taking over from Antonio Conte, the tactician has been given a new deal.

Allegri took Juventus to the Champions League final last year in one of his many highlights, although he couldn’t quite mastermind a victory over Barcelona.

This season, the Old Lady hold an unassailable 12 point lead at the top of the Serie A table with just two games left on the schedule.
