Asante Kotoko’s General Manager Opoku Nti has now says the target in the Premier League is to finish in the top four.

The champions look set to relinquish the title they’ve won for the past three seasons following a highly disappointing campaign this term.

Kotoko had a troubled start to their title defence, leading to the dismissal of Mas-Ud Dramanai.

Results have however failed to improve significantly since the appointment of David Duncan.

Kotoko however look rejuvenated now following a string of poor results after their famous win over Hearts of Oak on Sunday in Accra.

The win sees the Kumasi-based club rise to 8th and with a chance to break into the top four with five matches to go.

And the General Manager Opoku Nti has now set a modest target of finishing in the top four.

“The focus now is to finish in the top four,” he said.

“Until now, the team is yet to find its feet and we have gone through several struggles in recent weeks.

“But then I strongly believe we can finish in the top four by the end of the season.”
