Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu wants a positive response from his charges when they face Liberty Professionals in Accra on Wednesday night.

Pressure is beginning to mount on the ex-Ghana international following the side's 0-0 draw with Aduana Stars at home on Sunday.

Liberty are brimming with confidence ahead of the crucial tie after routing Ebusua Dwarfs 3-0 in Cape Coast last Sunday.

Konadu, whose side still lead the table with superior goal difference, wants his players to ease the pressure on them with victory.

''There is pressure everywhere and therefore it’s important we manage to get a good result against Liberty tomorrow," Konadu said

''We're in the critical stage of the league and so every team will be playing it tough. But I believe my players are well psyched up for the game.

''The draw against Aduana was a normal slip but hope to bounce back against our opponent."

Kotoko will lose their position at the top if they fail to win and Hearts beat Bechem United away.
