Majeed Ashimeru played his first league match for Wolfsberger AC on Saturday in their 0-0 draw with Rheindorf Altach.
He lasted the entire duration of the match at their home ground.
Ashimeru posted on his Facebook page: ''Allahamdullahi I made my Austrian Bundesliga debut for Wolfsberger AC on Saturday, 3 February, 2018. I played 90 minutes but sad we couldn’t win at home although we didn’t lose too. More to come in the days ahead.''
The former WAFA player has been loaned by Red Bull Salzburg to their Austrian Bundesliga rivals.
