Premier League Board chairman Ashford Tettey-Oku has lamented on their inability to secure a headline sponsor for the Ghana Premier.
The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season is due to commence on March 3 without a recognized headline sponsor.
It will be the third consecutive seasons the league body has failed to acquire sponsor for the top flight league.
Following yet another upcoming sponsor-less league campaign, PLB capo Tettey-Oku stated how it has negatively affected his outfit though he remains defiant of securing a sponsor very soon.
“I have been particularly worried for all this years thus running a league without a headline sponsor but the GFA are taking steps to get a headline sponsor very soon," the soft-spoken boss told Sportsnetghana.com
“It has not been easy because if it were that easy we could have gotten one by now, so let’s keep our options open and I believe when there is one, the GFA will announce."
