Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong played in his clubs game against Kuban Krasnodar which ended 2-2 in the Russian league on Saturday.
Frimpong, a hugely talented but controversial midfielder looks to have found his feet again in Russia after a difficult time in England.
The 23-year-old is a product of the Arsenal academy was a in the starting lineup against a fellow Ghana international Rabiu Mohammed.
He was able to hold his own against Kuban and lasted 78 minutes as his side took a point away from Krasnodar with virtually the last kick of the game.
Frimpong’s form will come as a delight to his coach Evgeny Perevertalio.
