Sellas Tetteh's reputation soars again after guiding Ghana U20 to African Youth Championship

Sellas Tetteh

Sellas Tetteh proved his tactical ingenuity when he guided Ghana’s U20 to reach the 2015 African Youth Championship finals with a comfortable 4-1 win over Gabon in Libreville.

The former Rwanda national team coach will be making his third appearance in the history of the tournament when he leads the Black Satellites in Senegal next March.

Tetteh won the tournament in 2009 in Rwanda and finished second at the last tournament held in Algeria-losing on penalties to Egypt.

The Liberty Professionals technical director gained global attention when he became the first man to win the FIFA U20 World Cup at the 2009 finals in Egypt.

Before that, he guided the Black Starlets to a fourth place finish at the 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup finals in South Korea.

This is what we called "a real Coach". Any Coach who wins an important away match is a good Coach. Bravo to you Sellas Tetteh and your boys.

I always held Sellas Tetteh up there with the best. I do not know why he was not picked to lead the BS. He would not need a technical director by his side. Enough said.

Sellas Tetteh never messed up with the BS...he wanted the job but the FA settled on the a result,he couldnt have been made an assistance.he then left for Rwanda.AA had the job easily because the FA wanted somebody who was familiar with the team chemistry after the departure of Coach Milovan due to the short time to play afcon 2013 qualifiers and wc 2014 qualifiers.

Silas never messed up the Black Stars..he had less than a year to prove his credentials. But we have a coach who has been given more than enough time and he is still messing up the black stars. Congrats Borbor..
