Sochaux unveil new signing Jordan Ayew

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew completed his loan move from Olympique Marseille to Sochaux on Monday.

The son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele has been presented to the club's fans.

The 22-year-old has joined Les Lionceaux for the second half of the season for regular playing time to boost his chances of making Ghana’s Brazil 2014 World Cup squad.

Ayew debuted in the French Ligue 1 on December 2009, scoring on his debut with the club against FC Lorient for Marseille.

He made 111 Ligue 1 appearances with Olympique Marseille and scored 14 goals.

In the 2009/2010 season he won the League and Cup double.

    He will not disappoint as he will have Sunzu at the backfield heading the long ball, Nathan Sinkala will supply him and Mayuka good balls. Congrats to the Jordan, hope he succeeds as well as Sinkala and Sunzu. Go team Africa.

    That's true my friends. Renard is an appreciative man indeed afterall, he is thanking Ghana and Zambia for giving him a career. In Zambia we have critized HR when things didn't go well for us with the free points awarded, but we love the Guy and I'm you guys do too. Well, good luck at the world cup, We Zambians will be watching and supporting black stars as well.
