Southampton pair Nathan Redmond and James Ward-Prowse set for England call

England are set to call up Southampton pair Nathan Redmond and James Ward-Prowse.

The Sun says the Southampton pair are in Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate's plans for the clash in Germany on March 22 and the World Cup qualifier against Lithuania four days later.

Southgate has been impressed with the form of the Under-21 stars, particularly in their run to the EFL Cup final.

They were watched by him at Wembley as Saints were beaten by Manchester United.

Ward-Prowse, 22, has come into contention with doubts over Jordan Henderson's fitness in central midfield.
