Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has insisted that his number one goal keeper, Jack Butland, won't be fit to play for England on September 4th in the World Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
Butland injured his ankle last week and will be out for a couple of weeks and Hughes told the Guardian that the young shot stopper needs time to recover.
"He won't be involved in that.
"It's important that he gets back to playing and training and he'll need a two-week period after the injury where he needs to get up to speed. He won't be ready for England."
