Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari will make his home debut for English side Sunderland on Saturday when they take Tottenham in the Premier League.

The enforcer joined the Black Cats on loan from Italian side Inter Milan two weeks ago.

He bossed the midfield for Sunderland in their game away against Stoke last week and is now set top play his first game at home for the Black Cats.

The Ghanaian duo of John Mensah and Asamoah Gyan are available for Sunderland.

The Black Cats will be without the services of skipper Lee Cattermole for the clash with Spurs due to his continued back problem.

Black Cats keeper Craig Gordon is expected to overcome a knee injury in time to face Harry Redknapp's men

Danny Welbeck will be sidelined until next month with a knee problem and David Meyler, Michael Turner and Fraizer Campbell all remain on the injury list.
