Medeama FC winger Theophilus Anobaah says the New Year is another opportunity for him to get his career back on track after a troubled 2014 which has stifled his growth.

The 2014 CHAN Star fell out of favor with the management of Medeama following contractual dispute that saw him fail to land a lucrative deal with Egyptian giants Petrojet.

Anobaah says he is looking to get his career back on track in 2015.

“We all have to look ahead of the new year with hope and optimism and I am confident that the new year will see a new Anobaah,” the skillful winger told GHANASoccernet.com

“There have been challenges but 2015 gives us all a chance to start afresh.

“I was born to play football and I am sure once I get back to the pitch people will agree to that.”

On the continual dispute with Medeama that has seen him relegated from the first team, Anobaah insists it was best he kept the issue out of the media for some time.

“There are a lot of issues in that case, and as a professional I will withhold that information at the moment till it is due.”
