Tough UEFA Champions League draw for Ghanaian sextet, Adu Kofi's Malmo FF handed Paris St-Germain, Real Madrid ties

Ghanaian sextet Baba Rahman, Enock Adu Kofi, Patrick Twumasi, Nana Asare, Thomas Partey and Kwadwo Asamoah have been handed tough tests for their respective clubs in the group phase of the UEFA Champions League.

The draw held in Monaco on Thursday , saw Malmo FF being drawn against reigning Paris St-Germain, Real Madrid and Ukrainian giants Shaktar Donetsk in group A.

Kwadwo Asamoah’s Juventus have drawn  Sevilla, Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach in group D.

New Chelsea boy Abdul Baba Rahman have it all to do as the English champions are paired against Porto, Dynamo Kyiv and Maccabi Tel-Aviv .

Ghanaian youngster Patrick Twumasi will play in the group phase of the prestigious competition for the first time as his Astana side are handed tough task in Benfica, Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray in group C. This means two Ghanaian players will clash in the group with Partey likely to make his debut in the lucrative competition.

Nana Akwasi Asare's Gent  will clash with Zenit St Petersburg, Valencia and Olympique Lyon.

Adu Kofi played against Kwadwo Asamoah's Juventus who reached the final of the competition last season but will now face 2014 winners Real Madrid in a highly anticipated in September.
