Villarreal CF have parted ways with coach Fran Escriba. The club announced the decision in a statement on Monday morning with the club lying in 14th position in LaLiga Santander after kicking off the season with two wins, a draw and three losses.
The club thanked Escriba and his team for his work during his time in charge: “The club would like to thank the coach, assistant coach Josep Alcacer and fitness coach Jose Mascaros for their work in the dugout since the start of last season.”
