Ghana FA has not opened up to embrace new ideas - Palmer chides

Ghana FA Tema Youth president Wilfred Osei Kwaku "Palmer" has revealed the new Ghana Football administration has not opened up to embrace new ideas.

The former Ghana FA executive committee member has revealed the Kurt Okraku administration has been self-absorbed since taking charge six months ago.

Palmer told local radio station Asempa FM on Thursday that nothing has changed since Mr Okraku took over the reigns of power.

He says the new administration has not opened up for new ideas.

"They have not opened up the way they should," he told Asempa FM

"If you look down on members of your association, you do so at your own peril.

"The likes of Alhaji Gruzah, Jones Abu Alhassan, Nana Brew Butler and the rest are colossus who cannot be ignored. You must listen to them if they speak.

"Immediately after the election, they should have closed ranks. Unfortunately, they didn't do that. They did not open up. I have discussed with George, Nana Yaw and others and its same with them."

The investment banker is fighting his disqualification from the Ghana FA presidential race last year at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
