Swansea City midfielder Andre Ayew says credit has to be given to his Swansea City team mates for his amazing start to life in the English League.

The Marseille trainee has wasted little time in adapting to life in the English Premier League.

Ayew has three goals and an assist in his first four games of the season.

But says a lot of the plaudit should be to his team mates for their support.

“I keep saying that it is not about me it’s my team mates that have helped me settle very well,” Ayew told Citi Sports

“I believe that football is a collective effort and I would not be able to achieve a thing without them, so it’s really all about the team.”

After helping his side take down Rwanda in the AFCON qualifiers Ayew is expected to return to club football this weekend when his Swansea City side take on Watford.
