Ghana World Cup star André Ayew began training with his French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Marseille after three weeks off.Â
The winger as at the club’s Robert Louis-Dreyfus training centre on Thursday afternoon to begin work ahead of the start of the season.
He warmed up with the rest of the squad before continuing with an individual program under the direction of assistant coach Diego Reyes, and accompanied by Wesley Jobello and Samad Mouhammadou.
Marseille head coach Marcelo Bielsa left him out of the squad which travelled to Salzburg, Austria for their pre-season friendly against Bayer Leverkusen.
He has been linked with a move away from the Stade Velodrome with Italian side Napoli said to be leading the race for his signature.
