Giulianelli: Man Utd forget Cole! Arsenal want Serie A duo; German clubs threaten EPL Diawara plans

Published on: 25 November 2015

Two offers for Amadou Diawara, the Guinean wonderboy who is setting the world on fire and attracting the attention of scouts from all over Europe.

And they are not from the UK, even if the player's agent confirmed to tribalfootball.com that many Premier League teams are following the Bologna midfielder.

Schalke 04 have put on the plate €13 million - refused by the Italian club. The second one is from Germany too, exactly from Eintracht Frankfurt. Declined.

The concrete impression is that Pantaleo Corvino, the genius of the Italian market, who has discovered dozens of talents from all over the world, wants to keep Diawara at Bologna, to help him to grow up without too much pressure and to give him the chance to express his potential. All in order to maximise the benefit from his selling, for an amount higher than €15 million.

Next season? Maybe.

What's sure is that Amadou wants to stay in Bologna for some time, before taking off to a more important team. In an interview to the Italian newspaper Il Resto del Carlino, Amadou, born in 1997, has said his dream is to play in a Champions League final. In Bologna it will be hard, but who knows?

WENGER SHOPPING FOR DEFENDERS IN ITALY

An Italian derby as a perspective for the Premier League: Arsene Wenger seems to have put his eyes on Daniele Rugani and Armando Izzo to reinforce the Gunners defence.

Rugani, born 1994, is owned by Juventus, but still hasn't had the chance to show his qualities with the Bianconeri, even though they chose to take him back from a loan at Empoli to place him in their squad.

He is a potential first-choice for the Italian national team defence, but he risks falling off the pathway of success by not playing matches in Turin. So he could decide to accept the adventure of the Premier League, but it won't be easy to convince Juventus to sell a man to whom they want to give the keys to the last line of defence for the coming years.

Armando Izzo, born 1992, is playing his second season at Genoa and he seems to have definitely found his feet as a potential top level centre back. Not only Arsenal are in for him: even Benfica seem interested in making an offer.

Izzo's price is more affordable than Rugani and this could mean a lot in a period like this: stay tuned because in the next days I want to speak with Izzo and let you know something more about this story...

ASHLEY COLE? DON'T DO IT MAN UTD!

Last words about a player who is lost in Rome. Ashley Cole, almost 35, has been dumped off the roster of Roma by mister Rudi Garcia for his very bad attitude: he's behaving like one who has thrown away his football jersey to dress in tourist clothes.

Paid €2.3 million for two seasons: a little bit too much for his "Vacanze Romane". And, well, I was falling out of my chair when reading that Manchester United is thinking of him as a possible substitute for the injured Luke Shaw.

I don't believe a word of this story, just something like an April Fools' Day out of season!
